Cookie and storage notice

Effective from: 24 July 2026 · Version: 1.0

This notice reflects Filamio's current operation. This is a courtesy translation; in case of any discrepancy, the Hungarian version prevails.

1. What are cookies and local storage?

Cookies are small data files that a website stores in your browser. Filamio also uses the browser's local storage (localStorage) to keep certain settings and the login state. They work similarly: they store data on your device.

2. What data does Filamio store?

Filamio uses only storage that is strictly necessary for operation (technical). Under the applicable law, no prior consent is required for these, because the service could not perform its core functions without them.

Stored itemTypePurposeLifetime
Login token (JWT)localStorageKeeping the logged-in state so you don't have to sign in on every page loadUntil logout or token expiry
Language and theme settinglocalStorageRemembering the selected language and light/dark themeUntil deleted
Stripe payment cookiesCookie (third party)The payment flow and fraud prevention on Stripe's payment pagePer Stripe's rules

3. Analytics and marketing cookies

Filamio currently does not use analytics, profiling or advertising cookies, and does not track users' browsing activity towards third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Managing and deleting stored data

You can delete the cookies and localStorage content stored in your browser at any time via your browser settings; logging out of Filamio deletes the login token. After deleting the necessary technical storage you may need to sign in again.

5. More information
